Stephan Blohm
Stephan Blohm (born 1970 in Bremerhaven, Germany) is Board of directors of MEDIAN SERVICES (LUX) SA and has worked in finance and investment for almost 30 years. He has held senior positions in several international banks and investment companies.
Education
From October 1990 to September 1995 Stephan Blohm studied at the University of Augsburg. With specialisations in Auditing and Controlling, Blohm graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
Professional Career & Entrepreneurship
After graduation, Blohm began working for an international auditing, management and tax consulting firm in 1995. As Head of Auditing, he was responsible for audits at both medium-sized and institutional clients.
He then worked as Head of Fund Accounting in Dublin (Ireland) for a fund administrator from 1999. There he primarily managed funds for institutional investors. Stephan Blohm then returned to Germany, where he worked as Head of Business Project Services for a leading global custodian bank until 2002.
From 2002 to 2006, Stephan Blohm held leading positions at an internationally operating capital management company in Munich. From 2004 to 2005, he was Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Northern Europe and responsible for the Finance & Controlling, Project & Process Management, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources and Product Development departments in Germany, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
In 2005 and 2006, he assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition, he was responsible for Internal Auditing within the company.
Between 2009 and 2011, Stephan Blohm worked as Managing Director for a Luxembourg-based capital management company where he was in charge of the day-to-day operations and was responsible for the areas of Portfolio Management, Sales & Marketing, Product Development and Project Management, among others.
In 2013, he joined a competitor in Luxembourg and assumed the position of Managing Partner. His extended responsibilities included Sales & Marketing, Portfolio Management and Auditing.

Stephan Blohm was a member of the supervisory board of an owner-managed asset management firm in Munich from 2011 to 2017.

Social & Miscellaneous
Throughout his professional career in Europe, Stephan Blohm has supported several social initiatives. These include associations for the support and training of guide dogs for the severely disabled or fundraising campaigns for social institutions, e.g., children’s hospice and palliative teams. In addition, Stephan Blohm continues to support initiatives for sustainable corporate culture & mobility, the careful use of resources, social equality and the expansion of renewable energies. The importance of the coming generations as well as the needs and care of children are central to Stephan Blohm’s activities.
